MIT Media Lab: City Robotics Hackathon

The MIT Media Lab City Robotics Group held a three-day hackathon in collaboration with US San Diego Design Lab.

The theme was to design a socially intelligent system for future city mobility. Our team designed an interactive bicycle helmet that can work as a platform for V2V (vehicle to vehicle) in the future. With computer vision technology, the helmet can detect dangerous situations on the road and provide feedback (light, sound, and haptic) to the biker. Our team won the first prize.
